Kommunikation wird stets auf ein harmonisches Ziel hin gedacht. Christel Fetzer spürt auf, welche Abgründe und Katastrophen dazwischen liegen – Friedhöfe der unerfüllten Sehnsüchte, Universen der Selbstbespiegelung, Tautologien künstlicher Hitzewellen. Teuflische Räume des Stillstands inmitten hektischer Aktivitäten. Fetzer fokussiert ihr aktuelles Werk auf die Grenze, wo das Banale und das Unheimliche verschmelzen. Die Ausstellung präsentiert neue Arbeiten der Künstlerin als vorübergehende Installation.
Normally communication aims at the harmonic solution. Christel Fetzer detects gaping abysses and catastrophies separating them – cemeteries of unfulfilled desire, universes of self-mirroring, tautologies of artificial heat waves. Devilish spaces of standstill amidst frantic activities. Fetzer focuses her topical work on the borderline, where the banal and the uncanny melt together. The exhibition presents new work by the artist as a temporary installation.
