Britta Bogers findet abstrakte Grundformen und setzt sie in serieller Variation ein. Sie arbeitet mit reduzierter
Farbpalette und verwendet Druckprozesse, um als subjektiv handelnde Person zurückzutreten.
Erzählerische Momente werden verdrängt, um Raum für eine andere Wirklichkeit zu gewinnen. Reste der
kommunikativen Aussage ihrer Formen bleiben jedoch erhalten und ermöglichen den Eintritt in das Bild.
Bogers transformiert den heiligen Anspruch abstrakter Kunst und entführt die Betrachter in das Abenteuer
von Leerstellen, Randerscheinungen und zufälligen Spuren.

ENGLISH VERSION
Britta Bogers finds elementary abstract patterns and uses them in serial variation. She works with a reduced
palette and employs printing techniques to withdraw as an acting person. Narrative elements are suppressed
to gain freedom of another reality. Traces of the communicative message of her patterns are kept up and allow
the viewer to enter the image. She transforms the holy claim of abstract art and abducts the viewer to an
adventure of void space, marginal phenomena and accidental traces.
